Target Practice:
Being able to control the distance of wedge shots can lead to lowering your
golf score. I like to work on hitting my wedges at different distances. A good
way to practice is to set up cones at 30, 50 and 70 yards and then alternate
hitting shots to the different cones. This will help you get a feel for hitting
the wedges different distances and will lead to more birdies.
Impact Bag:
A simple but effective way to practice your golf swing is using an impact
bag. Swinging into an impact bag will help you get the feeling of squaring
up the club head at impact and will help you learn how to turn your left
side through the shot rather than sliding. The great thing about using an
impact bag to improve is that you can use it just about anywhere. No
driving range is needed!
